12 Days of Christmas Day 6: MASTERMIND TOYS AGAIN!

Mastermind Toys

THAT’S NOT ALL! With a store as big and amazing as Mastermind Toys, we couldn’t leave you with just one review! We are halfway through our 12 Days of Christmas, so let’s keep the fun coming!

If your child is anything like mine you are being bombarded on a daily basis about what happens when…. or what if we did this….well now there’s a toy that can answer some of those questions. The Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab lets your child be the architect, engineer and builder and even lets you create the design!

The toy does come with instructions on how to build these contraptions and has 60 mix and match pieces to build whatever question your child could have. The toy is for children 8 years old and up, and stands over 2 feet tall when set up. Setting up this toy is easy: affix the Velcro edge of any of the pieces to the oversized felt board, and adjust how you like to create a path for the steel ball. From there you can rearrange the pieces to create a completely new path for the ball to travel through. The board folds flat for storage taking up minimal space when not being played with.

My son spent hours creating and testing sometimes failing but then recreating (after all isn’t science all about trial and error?).  Before this contraption my son didn’t know what the word hypothesis meant, but not now! Even Dad just had to join in the fun! The best part for me is the learning, the creativity for him and exploring. The best part for him? Rocketing the pig into the air of course: “that was sweet“ straight from the mouth of babes!

Mastermind is located on Fanshawe Road, just west of Wonderland.http://www.mastermindtoys.com/Help.aspx?topic=Store%20Locations They have free gift wrapping! Sneak away from the kids and take some time to browse the bright, delicious shelves of books, toys and everything else that is guaranteed to put a smile on your kids’ faces.

Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using?
I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
