Birthday Parties in London: Part 1

We have discussed some great options for having birthday party entertainers come to your house for your child’s birthday party, now we are going to fill you in on all of the great places outside of your home that can help celebrate the big day. If you have a small home or apartment, have a large guest list, or just hate the thought of all that cleaning and organizing, then a party out of the home might be the thing for you. The list of places is so long, we are splitting it up over more than one post!

SWIMMING

South London Community Pool 

Available most Saturdays, 45 minutes in the pool, 45 minutes in a shared party room. Personal pizzas, juice boxes, and cake are included. All of the other indoor and outdoor pools can be rented for special occasions. See the link for more information and contact information.

YMCA

There are three YMCA locations in London that host birthday parties: Bob Hayward, Stoney Creek, and Centre Branch. Each one offers swimming packages as well as party room time. See the link for specifics for each location.

Boys and Girls Club of London

The Boys and Girls Club of London offers pool parties! 45 minutes in the pool are followed by 45 minutes in one of their fun play rooms and 60 minutes in a party room. You are responsible for bringing all food, drinks, and supplies.

Best Western Lamplighter Inn

The Lamplighter Inn offers you it’s beautiful Atrium swimming pool area as a venue for your child’s birthday party. There are two options: the deluxe or the DIY party. See the link for full details.

Forest Edge Community Pool

This private, outdoor pool is available for party rentals for both members and non-members during their swimming season. See the link for contact information.

Woodcrest Community Pool

This private, outdoor pool is available for rentals for both members and non-members during their swimming season. Rentals are available between 11am and 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. See the link for more information.

We have also been told that the Ramada Inn, London and the Cherry Hill Community Pool will rent for birthday parties. Please see their links for contact information.

SKATING

City of London Indoor Arenas

Ice time and meeting rooms are available for rent all season. They do not offer specific birthday party packages on their website. See link for more information.

Storybook Gardens

Storybook Gardens offers skating parties during the winter months. Parties include skating time, refreshments, time in Storybook Junction, and supervised play led by Storybook staff. For more information, see the link.

London Sports Park

The  London Sports Park has been newly renovated and updated. They have ice time available for rent for your birthday parties. See the link for contact information.

Middlesex Centre Wellness and Recreation Centre

This community centre in Komoka offers rentals of the ice rink and meeting rooms for birthday parties. See the link for more information.

BOWLING

Palasad

Both the north and south locations offer bowling parties for kids. These include bowling, lunch/dinner, and a $5 card for the arcade. See the link for different party options and more information.

Fleetway

Fleetway parties include an hour of bowling, a party room with a Dairy Queen meal for each guest and your choice of either a cake you bring in or you can add a cake from Dairy Queen. See the link for more information.

Bowlerama

All you need to bring to Bowlerama is the cake and candles! They provide the party room and one hour of bowling fun. See the link for information.
