Get ready, Mamas! It’s time for kindergarten registration. Whether the thought makes you teary or jump for joy, if you have a child born in 2010 or 2011, they are not eligible to sign up for school in September.

Children must be four years old by December 31, 2015 for Junior Kindergarten

Children must be five years old by December 31, 2015 for Senior Kindergarten

Children must be six years old by December 31, 2015 for grade one

Thames Valley District School Board

TVDSB is the English, public board in London. Registration runs from January 19 to February 6, 2015 for their full day kindergarten program. Call your area school for an appointment, tour or application forms. Parents will need to provide proof of age and primary address. This is also the time to apply for enrollment into senior kindergarten for French Immersion schools.

London District Catholic School Board

LDCSB is the English, Catholic board in London. To register your child for full day kindergarten, call you area school for an appointment, tour or application package. Parents will need to provide proof of age, primary address, and a Roman Catholic baptismal certificate for the child or one of their parents. This is also the time to apply for enrollment into senior kindergarten for French Immersion schools.

Conseil Scolaire Viamonde

Conseil Scolaire Viamonde is the French Language public board. To register your child for full day kindergarten contact the school in your region to set up an appointment with the school’s principal.

Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence

CscProvidence is the French Language Catholic board. To register your child for full day kindergarten contact the school in your region to set up an appointment with the school’s principal.

There are also a number of private schools in London and area including:

London Christian Academy,

London Community Hebrew Day School,

London Islamic School,

London Waldorf School,

Matthews Hall,

Montessori Academy of London,

Riverbend Academy,

The London School,

 

And lastly, if you are interested in homeschooling your children, you can begin with the Ontario Federation of Teaching Parents.
