Canada Day is over and we are just getting summer vacation started. This weekend we are supposed to finally get some actual summer weather, so get outside and enjoy it! If you’re not able to entertain yourself, here are some other options to keep you entertained:
This Sunday, July 5 is London’s second annual MEC Century Ride! The event begins and ends at Tobaggan Brewery on Richmond. Cyclists can choose either the 60K or 100K route along the quiet rural roads surrounding London. Register online by July 5 or on the day of the race beginning at 7:45am.
Saturday night at 7:30pm the London Majors are taking on Hamilton at the historic Labatt Park.
There are two fun events at Storybook Gardens this weekend! Tomorrow, Friday, July 3rd, kids can come visit Pirate Captain Corbin with two magic shows in the afternoon. On Saturday, July 4th, Paddington Bear is visiting Storybook! Come out to meet him as you play in the park.
This weekend, there is a triple feature for older kids at the Mustang Drive-In beginning with either Jurassic World or Terminator Genisys. If you’re not into staying up late, check out Spymate, a movie about a chimpanzee for the Family Favourite movie at Silver City.
