London Majors Baseball

Baseball may be America’s national sport, but Canada definitely steps up to the plate! London is home to The London Majors, members of the Intercounty Baseball League. The London Majors have a short season from May through July, so don’t think too hard about whether or not you’d like to take your little ball fans to a game – do it now, before you miss out!

Tickets can be purchased at the box office or in advance online. Tickets are only $8 for adults, $6 for students and seniors. Season passes are also available for all of their home and away games. They are currently onsale: $99 for adults, $79 for students/seniors, $189 for a family pass (2 adults, 2 students).

Your child can celebrate their birthday with all of their friends at the ball game! If you have a baseball fan in your family, this would be the perfect summer party!  See HERE for all of the information.

Do you have a child ages 7-12 who would want to play baseball where the professionals play? The London Majors host a baseball camp to learn the fundamental skills and drills to become a top baseball player. Camps run weekly in July and are $185/week. For more information, see HERE.

Labatt Park, where the London Majors play was voted Canada’s favourite baseball field and is the “oldest continually operating baseball grounds in the world”? They’ve been around since 1877 and had the Guiness Book’s award for it. Unfortunately, the folks at Guiness renamed a field in Clinton, Massachusetts the oldest baseball field in the world when it was discovered that Labatt Park’s home plate is not in the original position that it was in 1877 – though it stayed within the same field. Wherever home plate lies, the field is full of some wonderful history and is definitely worth a visit.
