** You might notice that our post is BLUE today! That’s because it is WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS DAY. We have lots of love for our children, neighbours, friends, classmates, cousins, nephews, nieces, sisters, and brothers with autism, all of the therapists, teachers, aides, volunteers, and clinicians who are working with the ASD community and ESPECIALLY all of the LondonMoms out there who are supporting someone with ASD. For more information on ASD and the London branch of Autism Ontario, see HERE.
It is Easter weekend and if your kids are school-aged, that means they’ll be home for a whole four days in a row. That is either cause to celebrate or cringe! We suggest you enjoy it! If you’re looking for something to do before or after that giant bunny drops by your house, here are our suggestions.

This Friday, April 3 from 11:00am to 6:00pm at the Western Fair Grounds, Canada Building will be the 34th annual London Spring Arts & Crafts Show & Sale. There will be Easter goodies, garden decor, Mother’s Days gifts (it’s coming!), spring fashions and more. Admission is $6 (get $1 off by finding and printing the coupon on their Facebook page!).
The Budweiser Gardens will have an unusually quiet weekend! The only thing scheduled is a London Knights quarter final game against the Kitchener Rangers on Friday, April 3 at 7:30pm, if necessary.
The weather is currently looking a bit sketchy (ranging from -4C to 16C!), but this long weekend might be a great opportunity to get outside and explore the quieter parts of London for signs of spring with the kids. May we suggest a walk through the Sifton Bog, Warbler Woods, Kains Woods, Meadowlily Woods Park or Westminster Ponds?
